100 Thieves Makes Landmark Move with device Signing
100 Thieves has officially announced the signing of Danish AWPer Nicolai "device" Reedtz, marking a major milestone in the organization's return to competitive Counter-Strike.
The Signing
The move reunites device with his former Astralis teammate Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, who recently joined 100 Thieves as head coach. This partnership was instrumental in Astralis's era of dominance in CS:GO.
A New Chapter
This signing ends device's second spell with Astralis, which began in October 2022 following his departure from Ninjas in Pyjamas. During his recent tenure with Astralis, device helped the team reach:
- Grand finals at PGL Astana
- Grand finals at FISSURE Playground 1
- Their first Major appearance in three years at the Budapest Major 2025
100 Thieves' Ambitious Rebuild
100 Thieves officially confirmed their return to Counter-Strike in November 2025, marking their third attempt to establish a competitive CS roster. Their first signing was Norwegian veteran Havard "rain" Nygaard, formerly of FaZe Clan.
With device and rain forming the core alongside coach gla1ve, 100 Thieves is assembling a roster of proven veterans signaling serious ambitions to compete at the highest level in CS2.
What's Next
The team still needs to complete their roster with additional players. With the experience and pedigree of their current signings, 100 Thieves is positioning themselves as a potential force in the competitive CS2 scene.
